Breast Cancer Awareness and Domestic Violence Pt. 2

While, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 24 people per minute almost every day experience some type of abuse.

Think about 60 seconds in a minute.  In the United States alone, almost every 3 seconds (24 people per minute) someone is physically abused,  raped, or stalked by an intimate partner. This equates to over 12 million women and men throughout the year (Department of Justice, 2009; National Domestic Violence Hotline, n.d.)
